Taurus 2942M031UL 942M Ultra-Lite 22 WMR 8 Round 3" Matte Black Black Rubber Grip

This is not a bad revolver. Out of the box at the range today was pretty darn accurate. One reviewer did state shell swelling in the chamber which is true. But, this is not my primary weapon. This is what I take out in the Missouri woods when photographing wildlife. For snakes and such. Don't like snakes. I see that this product is sold out here so that means it's selling. I have the 3 inch barrel, 8 shot with the rubber grip. Can't beat it for a few hundred bucks.

Functions pretty good, except for 1 thing: after firing the cases are stuck and not easily removed by hand alonne on the ejection rod. I have to moderately bang the ejection rod down on the table to knock the spent cases loose. I have a feeling this will get better with time, or with a bit of polishing. This one thing does overshadow the rest of the functionality f the gun, making it feel a bit fiddely.

The only other critique I have is that the front sight is a bit to wide and with front and rear being in lat black, you can lose sight picture / sight alignment easily. Fixable with a file and some whiteout.

Trigger is good and smooth during the long pull, very crisp and light with the hammer cocked.

build quality seems very good, snug tolerences, not much play in the moving pieces.

I looked at and shot several 22WSM / 22 Magnum pistols and revolvers, I think this is the best 22Mag pistol. None of the semi-autos instilled confidence due to consistent jams and malfunctions.

Is it perfect - no, but its the best 22Mag pistol I have found.
